Sodexo are looking for a Part-Time Chef to join our team at Nuffield Health Exeter!

• Hours: 15/17 Hours per week
• Shift Pattern: Either Wednesday 10:00 - 19:00 and Thursday 07:00 - 14:00 (15 Hours) OR Saturday 07:00 - 18:30 and Sunday 07:00 - 13:00
• Parking on-site 
• Overtime available to cover holidays 

As a Chef at Sodexo in Nuffield Health Exeter, you will work under the guidance of the head chef and be responsible for managing a section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. You will have a passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow as a culinary professional. What you’ll do:  

• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and specifications
  
• Assist in menu planning and recipe development
  
• Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
  
• Comply with all Company and hospital policies and procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH.
  
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and organised
  

What you bring: 

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent at least 2 years plus working as a chef
  
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  
• Excellent culinary skills and a passion for cooking
  
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect
